Skirt number 3 in the 100 Skirts in 100 Days is a Fall Fashion Ruffled Peplum. I fell in love with some gorgeous fall fabric years ago when it was on the clearance table at my local quilt shop. I bought so much of it that you will certainly be seeing it in many more skirts. It’s called Oh My! by Sanae for Moda Fabrics. Look at all those pretty colors.I used the Ruffled Peplum Skirt tutorial from my friends at Simple Simon & Company. This is such a great tutorial and easy to follow. Their tutorial is for a size 5/6 so I made a few measurement modifications to mine.To accent the fall fabric, I made the ruffle using an orange tone-on-tone polka dot from Riley Blake Designs that I had in my fabric stash. All you need to make this skirt is fabric (yardage based on the size you wish to make) and 1″ elastic. This skirt took about 1.5 hours to complete from start to finish. Follow the tutorial at Simple Simon & Co. and you can’t go wrong. Follow the “100 Skirts in 100 Days” series on Instagram at @beckymariedesigns. Also if you have any skirt tutorials you would like me to try please leave a comment. I am having so much fun making all these skirts and would love to try new styles and techniques.
