A couple of months ago, I was having a totally irksome day with my sewing projects. I had bent two pins, broken my sewing machine needle and had to use my seam ripper way more than I’d like…and said one or two minor swear words. Putting sewing aside for the day, I grabbed my sketchbook and created a sewing doodle with the words, “I sew…therefore, I swear.” Thinking it was a pretty funny doodle, I took a picture and sent it to my sister. She thought it was pretty funny, too, and we had a good laugh.Fast forward a bit, I was getting ready to attend Quilt Market in SLC, UT. Because I designed this really cool Scientific print for Riley Blake Designs, I have the privilege of attending this fabulous event.
But like any girl, I wanted to wear the perfect outfit. My favorite piece of clothing is screen t-shirts; I love a good, comfortable statement tee. In fact, it’s usually what you will see me wearing any given day. The only problem is I didn’t have one about sewing (which is weird since that is my passion…well, that and Diet Coke). Although I didn’t have a sewing t-shirt, I did have that pretty funny doodle from a couple of months ago. So…I totally customized my very own screen tee to wear to Quilt Market. It was so fun to wear this shirt in a building full of quilters and sewists. Because so many people asked where they could get one, I have decided to make them available for purchase until June 28th! In fact, one girl came up to me and said, “I need that shirt in my life.” I agree! I think you do to. Let me know you want this @$#% shirt in your life by clicking the button below. Also available in a hoodie sweatshirt and dark shirts with white print.
